Getting Started with Journeys
This tutorial will guide you in creating an "Onboarding" Journey.
Getting Started: Creating the Onboarding Journey
The Onboarding Journey is our recommended base collection of checks that will help you track how complete your mapping of your engineering environment is. Matching Applications with Components, attaching Owners, and assigning Teams are the Base Mapping milestone.

-
From here, your Journey will run automatically on a regular schedule. When data is added or changed on Applications and Components, the Journey score will be updated accordingly.
What This Journey Measures
This set of checks is a base Onboarding Journey that measures:
- How well Applications and Components have been mapped together
- Whether Applications have ownership assigned
- Whether Applications have correct descriptions
- Whether Applications are linked to supporting Teams
This will set you on your way to getting up and running with your DevGrid account and establishing a solid foundation for more advanced maturity assessments.
